Six teams contested the annual team trial run on North Country Mules, hosted by Sussex Sheep Dog Society and judged by Ray Edwards. The trial was run on fit North Country Mules with new sheep all day. The outrun was extended to nearly 700 yards making it a real test for dogs and handler. This accounted for a number of retirements as some dogs did not hear redirection commands due to a strong cross wind. John Marsh judged the trial placing Rob Moore with Gilfach Glen in 1st place. Paul Griffiths was best novice as well as taking 6th place.

Results: 1st R Moore Gilfach Glen, 2nd D Thompson Tim, 3rd R Putnam Fly, 4th P Paice Emm, 5th R Edwards Don, 6th P Griffiths Moss.
